Jorge A. Lopez is an enrolled agent certified by the Internal Revenue Service to practice and represent taxpayers. He graduated from Florida International University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration majoring in the fields of Management and Marketing. He then sought to broaden his expertise and skill set in the business world, so he began his pursuit of a tax enrollment certification in 2022 from the IRS and passed the final of three examinations in August 2023. That same month, he also began classes at FIU to pursue a second bachelor’s to qualify for CPA certification for the State of Florida, which requires a Bachelor’s of Accounting and at least 150 college credits, which he will meet in December 2025. He is now eligible to sit for the CPA examination. He has been accepted and is attending the University of Minnesota's International Tax Graduate Certificate program. Despite meeting the CPA educational credit requirement, his passion for international tax drove him to the #1 specialized master’s in international tax designed for CPA’s in the country. He has been working in public accounting since 2022. Jorge is currently studying for both the CPA and CMA exams, while also focusing on building INTERUSA.
